I realise that going to this church last night is actually part of my continuing attachment to Judy. This is understandable but innevitably as time goes by I must try to break that attachment. Not being attached to someone does not mean you love them any less. it just means you accept that your life must go on and their new life (elsewhere) must go on. The medium at the church last night was a charlatan anyway. His comments were so general that it would have been difficult for anyone to contradict him. I noticed also that he only chose to speak to women. Is this because women are generally more compliant? Or at least more polite and less likely to challenge him. Anyway I could quite easily imagine Judy would have found the whole thing a bit ridiculous and slightly corny. In fact when I chatted to her Mum Katie on the phone afterwards I could hear Judy making funny comments. She would have have noticed for example that they were playing an Elton John song on a CD player when we went in. Hardly very spiritual!!!!
